The Futura Book celebrates one of design history's most iconic and foundational typefaces. Often referred to as the "basics of all basic fonts," Futura has stood the test of time, showcasing the power of simplicity and geometric precision. Emerging during the Industrial Revolution, Futura reflects the era’s focus on innovation and functional beauty. To honor this heritage, I crafted the book with an industrial design approach, incorporating structured layouts, clean geometry, and minimalistic visuals to echo the typeface's roots in modernist design.

This project highlights my diverse skill set, including research, publication design, typography, layout composition, and digital illustration. I utilized in-depth research to uncover Futura’s rich history and evolution into over 20 variations, crafting informative and engaging content. My proficiency in layout design allowed me to structure the book in a way that guides the reader through a cohesive narrative. At the same time, my illustration skills brought visual depth to the historical and technical aspects of the typeface. Additionally, I leveraged my ability to balance functionality with creativity to ensure the book’s design was as impactful as the font it celebrates. The Futura Book is a testament to my ability to combine design, storytelling, and technical precision.
